Emmy-winning director and acclaimed actor Katie O'Grady brings over 20 years of experience in film, television, and commercials, with credits spanning NBC, Netflix, IFC, Lionsgate, and more.

Katie recently relocated from Los Angeles to Seattle and is launching a new online class focused on character building, scene study, the Meisner acting technique, and career development. She is the founder of The Studio NW, Portland's premier acting studio, and has spent 18 years coaching thousands of actors.

As both a director, with three films in development, and the owner of a successful production company, Katie continues to teach because of her passion for nurturing driven, committed actors. Her dual perspective—on both sides of the camera—offers rare insight and mentorship for those ready to dive deep into their craft.
