Robin Vada Song

“Some people are simply meant to teach, and Robin absolutely is." That's a review from a director in one of Robin's 'Talking to Actors' workshops. After 20 years working both behind the camera and in front of it*, Robin became frustrated with how often directors struggle to communicate their vision to actors, so she made it her mission to teach directors how to speak the language of actors and bring out their best performances. Now she coaches directors all around the world, and loves every minute of it. But her favorite thing of all is to work with actors.

As a producer, 1st AD, and Director her credits include shorts that have screened in Oscar-qualifying festivals like Dances with Films, feature films, and a bevy of commercial work for clients like Amazon, Adidas, Kodak, Xerox, and Intel. As an actor you might recognize her from Hulu's "Shrill", Investigation Discovery Channel's "Wonderland Murders", or a ton of commercial work for clients like AT&T, T.Mobile, NBA, HP, Intel, Portland Opera, Amazon, etc. Most recently you've probably seen her as the spokesperson for Goodwill in a long-running series of commercials.
